About Glasgow International Arena

Commonly known as the Emirates Arena, this spectacular multi-sport complex in Dalmarnock is the perfect example of modern sporting architecture. The venue is split into two primary competition zones for the 2026 Games. The main indoor arena will host the artistic gymnastics competition, transforming its vast floor space into a stage for world-class routines across 14 medal events. Directly adjacent sits the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, a magnificent indoor track cycling hub featuring a 250-metre geometry-defying Siberian pine track. Named after Scotland’s legendary Olympic champion, the velodrome will host track cycling, promising high-speed drama across 18 distinct medal events. With its iconic design and world-class acoustics, this unified indoor complex stands out as one of the most intense, fan-focused environments of the entire Games.
