India vs Bangladesh, 3rd ODI Highlights: India on Saturday thrashed Bangladesh by 227 runs in the third and final ODI at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, but went down 1-2 in the three-match series. Chasing a target of 410, Bangladesh were bowled out for a paltry total of 182 in 34 overs. For India, Shardul Thakur bagged three wickets, while Axar Patel and Umran Malik took two wickets each. Earlier, Ishan Kishan and Virat Kohli ripped apart the Bangladesh bowling line-up to help India post a daunting total of 409 for 8 in 50 overs. Ishan Kishan hit 210 off 131 balls, while Virat Kohli scored 113 runs off 91 balls. The duo together stitched 290 runs for the second wicket. Bangladesh skipper Litton Das had won the toss and opted to bowl first in the game. (SCORECARD)
Shakib Al Hasan is out! He has been dismissed by Kuldeep Yadav. Bangladesh are five down now and the match is slipping out of their grip. Scoring over 10 runs per over from here that too with half of the team in the dugout is a big ask from Bangladesh to be honest.
Yasir Ali has been dismissed by Umran Malik. It is the first wicket of the game for the right-arm pacer. Yasir was hit on the pad in front of the stumps but umpire was unconvinced. India went upstairs and a review revealed that the ball would have hit the leg stump by a fair amout. Yasir departs for 25 off 30 balls.
Six overs of spin have been bowled by Indian bowlers Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav collectively. While Bangladesh scored only 20 runs in the phase, they lost the wicket of Mushfiqur Rahim. This is a good track for spinners and the Indian ones have done well so far to choke the Bangladeshi batters.
Litton Das is gone! Mohammed Siraj claims his wicket. Litton was trying to up the ante but has perished in the process. He wanted to hit the ball over mid-off fielder but failed to clear him. He scored 29 runs off 26 balls.
Axar Patel has trapped Anamul Haque. The latter departs for 8 runs off 7 balls. India would expect this to bring a change in Bangladesh's scoring rate as the duo of Anamul and Litton Das had put their feet on the accelerator in the past few overs.
An uppish drive from Litton Das from the left of Mohammed Siraj for a four. It was a good length delivery but Das was already committed to the drive. To his good luck, the ball flew in the vacant region and he not only survived a scare but also got a boundary off it.
Bangladesh have started their chase of 410 runs in Chattogram. The first over was bowled by Mohammed Siraj, while Shardul Thakur is bowling the second over. Litton Das and Anamul Haque eye to give a solid start to Bangladesh.
Axar Patel hit Taskin Ahmed for a six over long-on and played the very next ball on his stumps. He departs after scoring 20 runs off 17 balls. India are only 10 short of 400 runs.
Virat Kohli is out for 113 runs off 91 balls and that is the fifth wicket for India. Kohli would still be a relieved man for the fact that he got his pending ODI hundred after a gap of well more than three years. He departs but India are still on track for a total in excess of 400.
A six from Virat Kohli over square leg and he races to his 44th ODI hundred, and more importantly his 72nd international century. That helps him surpass Ricky Ponting, who has 71 international hundreds to his name. Only Sachin Tendulkar is ahead of Kohli with 100 international tons to his credit.
Ishan Kishan is out! A superb catch from Litton Das at the boundary ropes down the ground puts an end to Kishan's heroic knock. It was a mishit from Kishan yet it travelled to the boundary to the boundary rop. Two players could have collided but Das eventually pulled off a brilliant catch. Kishan falls for 210 off 131 balls.
What a moment this is! Ishan Kishan has become only the fourth Indian player to hit a double-hundred in ODI cricket history, and he has raced there in only 126 balls with the help of 23 fours and 9 sixes. This is ruthless, amazing and destructive batting at its very best.
Virat Kohli is also enjoying his time out there at the middle. This time he hits another four, this time over mid-off and the partnership for the second wicket is now over 250 runs off only 164 balls.
A boundary from Virat Kohli on the off side. One would want to become everything at the moment but not the Bangladeshi bowlers. This is some great attacking from the Indian batters, especially Ishan Kishan who has put Bangladesh completely on the backfoot.
This is insane stuff from Ishan Kishan. He is literally toying with the Bangladesh bowlers. This was a short ball from Ebadat Hossain and Kishan tried to pull it over mid-on. It eventually turned out to be a one-handed shot as Kishan other hand slipped and left the bat's handle.
A full toss ball from Ebadat Hossain and Virat Kohli slams it for a four from the left of mid-off fielder. It was a hit-me ball from Hossain and he got the right treatment.
Ishan Kishan hits a four and that's a 150 for the Indian southpaw. And the most special thing about it is that it has come off only 103 balls. He has put on a spectacular show here at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. This is some great attack from the player.
Ishan Kishan is batting on another planet. He created room on the first ball of Shakib Al Hasan to hit a four before slamming the bowler for a six on the very next ball.
This is some ruthless batting from Ishan Kishan. Ebadot Hossain did the crime of bowling it fuller and in the slot to Kishan, who was always ready for it. Kishan slammed it for a six over long-on. Terrific batting from Kishan this is!
