In reply, Zimbabwe may have lost Sikandar Raza early but the other opener in Vusi Sibanda (55) kept the chase on track.

The Indians however soon began pecking at the batting card with a sudden burst of wickets. While Jaydev Unadkat claimed two in a rush and inflicted a run-out as well, Jadeja too contributed with his slow spin.

Hamilton Masakadza managed to plug the fall of wickets with a gritty 34 but it was not enough to stop India from cruising to a win.
