India vs West Indies Live: West Indies win!!!
A single comes off the final ball and West Indies win by 4 runs. Brilliant comeback from the side and poor performance from India. The Hardik Pandya-led side could have finished this game early but a maiden over from Jason Holder that had two wickets in it turned the game on its head.
Kuldeep Yadav dances down the track but Shepherd has nailed a perfect yorker to rattle his stumps. India are 8 down now. They need 10 in 5 balls. What a game this is turning out to be! West Indies are on top but it's not over for India yet.
Another ones goes down! Sanju Samson is run out at the score of 12. This is poor running from Samson. West Indies are truly back in the game. India need 37 runs in 27 balls.
15.1 - Hardik Pandya has been cleaned up by Jason Holder. It was a slower ball from Holder and Hardik failed to read it. He wanted to tap it on the leg side but missed it completely. The ball hit the stumps and Hardik will have to return to the dugout.
14.4 - Extremely poor bowling from Obed McCoy! The fine leg is inside the circle, yet he bowled a back of good length ball down the leg side to Hardik Pandya. The ball hit the pad of Hardik and ran away for a four by beating the short fine leg.
It was good placement plus luck for Hardik Pandya. He hit the ball in the air but that missed the diving backward point fielder and raced away for a four. Hardik was not in complete control of the shot but he got a boundary. India need 52 runs in 36 balls.
A stylish and confident lofted shot from Hardik Pandya over extra cover for a four. It was a really goos shot played on the rise from the Indian skipper. Six runs came off the Alzarri Joseph over. India need 67 runs in 48 balls.
India have scored 70 runs at the loss of three wickets in the first 10 overs. They need the remaining 80 runs in the next 60 balls. Saving wickets and building partnership should be the first target for India as an asking rate of 8 runs per over is not much on this surface.
A single from Tilak Varma and India have raced to 50 runs in 7 overs. India need 100 runs in 78 balls. A good partnership from here and India can boss this game as the required run rate is below 8 (7.69) at this stage.
Akeal Hosein gets Shubman Gill! It was a flighted delivery from Hosein and Gill was beaten by it. Since the Indian batter had come down the track by then, it was all curtains for him. This is now a superb start for West Indies/
Mukesh Kumar conceded only six singles off his second over. Despite both Windies batters on the attacking mode, Mukesh managed to keep them in the noose. This is impressive bowling from the T20I debutant.
