Spain struck late to win Euro 2024 with a 2-1 victory over England on Sunday in Berlin to capture the trophy for a record fourth time. Real Sociedad striker Mikel Oyarzabal turned home in the 86th minute after Nico Williams sent Spain ahead early in the second half but England substitute Cole Palmer pulled the Three Lions level. England almost equalised at the death but Dani Olmo headed Marc Guehi's effort off the line to safety.

Spain have done it! They are the Euro 2024 champions and history has been made! A massive 4th Euros title for Spain and they are now the most decorated side in the history of the competition. What a moment for the young brigade which has enthralled fans throughout the tournament!

Phil Foden had the best chance of the half but his shot was just not powerful enough! The free kick fell for Foden but his position was not the best and while stretching, he did unleash a shot but it was not good enough to trouble Unai Simon.

England have been quite impressive while defending and it is a testament to their skill that both Nico and Yamal have found it extremely difficult to produce a clear cut chance. However, the threat continues.

Spain have not left the ball alone for more than 5 seconds in the last few minutes and England are really finding it difficult to control this game. A long range effort from Olmo could not find the target while the wingers have been bombarding the penalty box with crosses.

A yellow card for Dani Olmo and both teams have one booking each in this game. A dangerous tackle resulted in Olmo's boots hitting Rice on the chest and this could have been nasty!

The inclusion of Luke Shaw has really strengthened the English defence and the impact is quite apparent. Shaw has launched quite a few aggressive runs in the final till now and what he has done the best is to control Yamal from controlling that side of the pitch.

First yellow card of the game and it goes to Harry Kane. A double footed challenge on Fabian Ruiz and this was not pretty at all. Big moment in the game!

Spain have been the dominant side in this game but the two good chances actually fell for England. A long range effort from Declan Rice was blocked valiantly by the defender while Phil Foden was unable to control a solid cross from Bukayo Saka.

While Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden both came into the tournament with sterling performances for Real Madrid and Manchester City respectively, their positions have been changed in this England team and that has really not helped matters. Both have looked a bit confused at times and that has been a major problem for Gareth Southgate.

Finally a positive move from England after prolonged phase of Spanish domination but it ends with a somewhat rash tackle on Declan Rice. The resulting free-kick, however, was completely wasted as a cheap foul brought the move to an end.

It has been a tournament to remember for Nico Williams. His rapid pace has made him a menace for defenders and once again, he was able to win the first corner of the game. However, the delivery was not that great and a chance wasted by Spain.
