Paris' popular public plaza Place de la Concorde played host to a colourful Paralympics 2024 opening ceremony on August 28, as 4,400 competitors from 168 delegations paraded.

A colourful air show was put on by French aerobatics division Patrouille de France, to welcome the ceremony.
