Three Bans in Four Years, When Will India's Paralympic Body Become Able?
International Paralympic Committee has suspended Paralympic Committee of India for an indefinite period. The world body has also banned Indian athletes from taking part in its approved events. In recent weeks, the PCI has been in the news for the wrong reasons. Sports ministry also issued a show-cause notice to PCI following the "poor conduct" of the 15th National Para Athletics Championships which were held from March 20 to 22. This also led to the sacking of its president Rajesh Tomar.
