Olympic Debutants Vinesh, Sindhu Eye Medals at Rio Games
Vinesh Phogat (wrestling) and PV Sindhu (badminton) will be among the 100-plus sportspersons representing India at the Rio Olympic Games in August. The Summer Games, the first in South America, will be their maiden Olympics for Vinesh and Sindhu. Both young athletes are dreaming of an Olympic medal but experienced badminton coach Pullela Gopichand has cautioned that athletes must not succumb to the pressure of expectation and the hype around the quadrennial event.
