A scintillating knock by David Miller wasn't enough to see South Africa A home against India A at Tony Ireland Stadium, with India A prevailing by three-wickets. India A's captain Manish Pandey was the hero, scoring an unbeaten century to steer his side to victory, their first of the Quadrangular 'A' Series in Townsville, Queensland. Just four days after being bowled out for 55 runs, India A put together a complete performance and chased down the required 231. Pandey was ably supported by Kedar Jadhav (26) and Dhawal Kulkarni (23 not out) who sat with their skipper to form two ultimately match-winning partnerships. Kulkarni was also pivotal with the ball against the South Africans, claiming 4-37 from his ten overs and claiming the key scalp of David Miller, who surged back into form with a classy 90 from just 104 balls.
