A few days after being controversially dropped from the government's Target Olympic podium scheme, London Olympic medallist Gagan Narang made a stirring comeback to his pet event 10-m Air Rifle. Gagan struck a gold at the ISC Hannover meet last night with a final score of 249.6, which was higher than the gold medal winning score at the ISSF World Cup in Fort Benning yesterday. He had earlier won a silver in the 50m prone position event at the same tournament in Germany on Thursday. This is Gagan's comeback win in air-rifle after an injury break.
