Dhoni needs to be more flexible in team selection: Gavaskar

Former India batsman Sunil Gavaskar has advised Mahendra Singh Dhoni to be flexible while deciding on his playing XI after Team India went down to New Zealand by 15 runs (D/L method) to lose their No.1 ranking in ODIs. Speaking exclusively to NDTV from Hamilton, Gavaskar says that India haven't quite got their combination right by continuously playing five batsmen and five bowlers. Gavaskar suggests that playing benched players like Amit Mishra and Ambati Rayudu will give Dhoni more options and all-rounder Stuart Binny can lend balance to the side.
