Completely Unexpected Performance From India: Sunil Gavaskar To NDTV

Opting to bat first in the second Test match against Australia in Bengaluru, India were bowled out for 189 on the first day. Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar told NDTV that India's dismal show with the bat is completely unexpected and the Indians have been found wanting. Gavaskar also went on to add that the Indian batsmen made Nathan Lyon look extraordinary. In his assessment of Virat Kohli, Gavaskar said that the Indian captain was moving around too much in the crease and needed to stay still. Kohli for the second time in this series made an error in judgement that cost him his wicket.
