Anju Bobby George strikes gold after nine years!

In 2003 Indian long jumper Anju Bobby George created history when she became the First Indian athlete to win a medal at the World Athletics Championships. She then went on to win a silver at the World Athletics Final in Monaco in 2005. Nine years later that silver medal she won in Monaco has turned into a gold after the winner was disqualified. Any chance of a comeback has been ruled out by Anju. The 36-year-old is now leading a happily married life with her former coach and husband Bobby George. The two medals though, will mean Anju's name will be remembered anytime anyone speaks of track and field in India.
