Unprecedented scenes were there for all on Tuesday, as Rs 20 crore mark was breached. First, Pat Cummins went for Rs 20.50 crore to SRH to become the first player ever to breach the Rs 20-crore mark. Then Mitchell Starc broke that record and was roped in by KKR for a whopping Rs 24.75 crore - the highest-ever price for an IPL player ever! Harshal Patel was the costliest Indian player as he was roped in by PBKS for Rs 11.75 crore. Uncapped batter Sameer Rizvi (Rs 8.4 crore, CSK) sprung a surprise. Apart from them, Daryl Mitchell (Rs 14 crore, CSK), Alzarri Joseph (Rs 11 crore, RCB), Rilee Rossouw (Rs 8 crore, PBKS), Rovman Powell (RR, Rs 7.40 crore), Shahrukh Khan (Rs 7.40 crore, GT), Kumar Kushagra (Rs 7.2 crore, DC), Travis Head (SRH, Rs 6.80 crore) were the other top buys.
