IPL: Glenn Maxwell Fifty In Vain, KKR Beat KXIP By Seven Runs

Glenn Maxwell smashed 68 but Andre Russell picked up 4/20 as Kolkata Knight Riders beat Kings XI Punjab by seven runs to go on top of the table.

Uthappa started off slowly but Gambhir, the KKR skipper, started off like a train.

Gambhir notched up his 30th fifty and he continued his magnificent form in the 2016 IPL.

Uthappa also notched up his 17th fifty as KKR steamrolled the KXIP bowlers.

The partnership between Gambhir and Uthappa was worth 101 runs and it put KKR on course for a big win.
