The hosts were asked to bat and were given a strong start by David Warner (in pic) and Matthew Wade. The two put together 75 runs for the first wicket.

While Wade had 49 runs before being dismissed by Rangana Herath, Warner was the first to depart, scoring 48.

The thread eventually broke and the visitors were bowled out on 215 with an over left to play. Although the Australians were fined for a slow over-rate, they were also honoured with the CB Series trophy.
