It was a professional display by India as they went about defeating archrivals Pakistan by 8 wickets in their Super Eights clash in Colombo. The win kept up their hopes of making the last four in this edition of the World T20.

Eventually Kohli and Yuvraj guided India to an 8 wicket win over Pakistan. It was a crushing blow for the Pakistanis and India would draw confidence from this win when they take on South Africa in their next encounter.
