Uganda U19 vs Papua New Guinea U19 Highlights: Uganda registered their first win of the ongoing Under 19 World Cup as they defeated PNG U19 by 35 runs in the 13th Place Playoff Semi-Final 1 played at the Diego Martin Sporting Complex, in Diego Martin. Batting first, Uganda batters failed to get going and were dismissed for 123 runs in 28 overs. Wicket-keeper batter Cyrus Kakuru top scored with 65 runs and was the only the second Uganda player to reach double-digits apart from skipper Pascal Murungi. PNG bowler John Kariko took a superb five-wicket haul.
However, the Uganda bowlers bowled tight lines and lengths as they won a low-scoring thriller by restricting the PNG side to 88 all-out in 19.3 overs. Juma Miyaji was the pick of the bowlers with four wickets in nine overs.
