Team Australia thrashed India by 79 runs to clinch the Under-19 World Cup 2024 title on Sunday. The junior Aussies followed the footsteps of the senior team and defeated Team India in the summit clash, denying them yet another ICC title. Earlier in November, the senior Australian team had defeated the Rohit Sharma-led side in the final of the ODI World Cup 2023. As the Australians are showing their sheer dominance in the game, they are also aspiring the young talents in their country.

He even celebrated his half-century by flaunting his bat and taking off his cute little hat. This adorable video went viral and left the fans in awe.

Talking about the Under-19 finale match, Australia made 253 for seven in their 50 overs after winning the toss and deciding to bat. Strongly-built left-hander Harjas Singh made a hard-hit 55 to highlight a solid batting performance.
India's batting had been their strength leading up the final but they crashed to 122 for eight against Australia's pace bowling attack.
Opening batsman Adarsh Singh (47) was the only top-order batsman to shine.
Murugan Abhishek (42) led some lower-order resistance before the five-time champions were bowled out for 174.
Fast bowler Mahli Beardman took three for 15 and was named man of the match. Off-spinner Raf MacMillan took three for 41.
