Cristiano Ronaldo, who mesmerizes the world's tightest defences with his footwork and scoring skills, has now become a movie star. The Real Madrid icon has released a trailer for his new film, also called 'Ronaldo', which follows his life over a year.
"Ronaldo's documentary will premiere in London in November. The film followed the Portuguese international for 14 months while he won the UEFA Champions League."
The Real Madrid star says it is a chance for fans to see who he is "objectively". The trailer shows Ronaldo with his young son, as well as scoring on the pitch.
The 30-year-old forward allowed a film crew to have unprecedented access to his private and public life. The documentary was made by the makers of sports documentary, 'Senna', said the Daily Mail website.
The three-time Ballon d'Or winner, who will attend the film's premier in London, says it is about showing fans who he really is. "My aim with this documentary is to be who I am, objectively for my fans," Ronaldo said.
"I think people will love watching this documentary because it's not fictitious or manipulated - it's something real," the striker said, much like his real goals that are a treat to the football fan.
