Euro 2016: France Beat Germany To Enter Final

It was quite an exciting start to the last four clash with France having a couple of chances at the start

But the Germans clearly dominated the first half with some brilliant performances

Germany had more than 60 percent of the possession in the first half of the game

France goalkeeper Hugo Lloris had a superb day on the pitch, making sure the Germans did not get off the mark

Lloris stood out for his team, making a couple of stunning saves to keep Germany at bay

But just as the first half was about to end, Germany skipper Bastian Schweinsteiger was shown the yellow card

What was worse for the German fans was that it was a penalty!

And Griezmann did not disappoint, putting the ball past Neuer to put France 1-0 up at half-time

Germany coach Joachim Loew had to come out with something extraordinary to stop the French going to the final

But the semifinal kept getting worse for Germany who went on to lose Jerome Boateng to an injury

Meanwhile, Griezmann was at it again and made it 2-0 for the hosts in the 72nd minute

It was tough for the Germans to come back from 2-0 down with only 18 minutes remaining on the clock

Minutes passed by and France entered the final of the continental championship

Griezmann now has six goals from the tournament, three more than anyone else

France will now take on Portugal in the final at Stade de France near Paris on Sunday night.
