WI vs BAN, 2nd Test, Day 3 Highlights: Kemar Roach became just the sixth West Indian to claim 250 Test wickets as the senior pacer swept through the top order of the Bangladesh second innings to put his team on course for victory on the third day of the second and final Test at the Daren Sammy Stadium in St Lucia on Sunday. Roach's three wickets led the assault of the hapless visitors who closed the truncated day at 132 for six in their second innings, still needing another 42 runs to avoid an innings defeat after Kyle Mayers' topscore of 146 anchored the West Indies first innings total of 408. Another brief respite followed courtesy of another series of showers. However the reprieve proved temporary with Alzarri Joseph unsettling the batsmen with pace and bounce to claim the wickets of Najmul Hossain Shanto and captain Shakib al Hasan while Jayden Seales chimed in by removing the experienced Liton Das.

We are back! Bangladesh have an uphill task of wiping off the Windies' lead of 174 runs and then setting a target. The umpires and the players are back on the field. West Indies were off to a superb start with Kraigg Brathwaite and John Campbell putting a century opening stand but after that, the Windies started to lose the grip and were looking in a bit of trouble. Kyle Mayers and Jermaine Blackwood joined to repair things and the duo added around 100-odd runs to put their team in lead. Once, Blackwood fell, Mayers started to show his muscle as he scored at a quick rate. He and Joshua Da Silva helped West Indies get past the 100 lead but Day 3 wasn't what they hoped for as only 68 runs came through. Excellent bowling performance from Khaled Ahmed, he ended with five wickets while Hasan got three and he was the initiater and these two made sure Bangladesh do not give away a big lead.

So, West Indies have a lead of 174 runs. It was Kyle Mayers who was there in the middle and was building on the overnight lead but once his wicket fell there wasn't much batting from the other side. Credit to Bangladesh bowlers, they have not allowed much runs to score and took all the wickets quickly. Joshua Da Silva went early and then, they kept things tight further to bundle out West Indies for 408.

126.3WKhaled Ahmed to Jayden Seales
OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Jubilation for Khaled Ahmed as he gets his maiden five-wicket haul in Test cricket. Lovely delivery this, around the top of off and just shaping away a touch after pitching. Jayden Seales has a little dab at it and gets the outside edge. Nurul Hasan dives down to his left to take a good catch. West Indies bowled out for 408 and they lead by 174 runs!

126.20Khaled Ahmed to Jayden Seales
Around the top of off, kept out on the off side by Seales.
-
126.14Khaled Ahmed to Jayden Seales
FOUR! Nicely done in the end by Jayden Seales. This is very full and on off, Seales squeezes it out with soft hands and the ball runs away through the vacant backward point region for a boundary.
-
125.61Shoriful Islam to Jayden Seales
Full and on the pads, flicked away to fine leg for a single. The lead now grows to 170.
-
!
Jayden Seales is the last man in.

125.5WShoriful Islam to
OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Brilliant comeback delivery from Shoriful Islam, goes a bit fuller and angles it in closer to the off pole. Anderson Phillip opts to drive at it with a straight bat but seems to have got beaten past the outside edge. Appeal for a caught behind...not given! The keeper seems interested and Shakib Al Hasan does go upstairs. The replay shows that it is close to the bat and UltraEdge confirms there is a faint edge. OUT!
