In an exclusive chat with NDTV, former India Test opener Aakash Chopra on Wednesday heaped praise on star England batsman Joe Root, who scored a ton on Day 1 of the Rajkot Test. Chopra was particularly impressed with the way the right-hander countered India's spinners. The 25-year-old scored 124 runs, which included 11 boundaries and a six, before being caught and bowled by Umesh Yadav. England ended the opening day at 311/4.
