That's it from us then. It was an entertaining game. The fifth ODI on Monday will be a dead rubber though. Join us again for that. Until then, good bye and take care.
Dale Steyn is the Man of the Match for his match-changing spell. Says he is happy with the performance and applauds the team effort. He was just visualizing where to bowl and bowling changes were spot on by AB. Adds he was just being an angry fast bowler on the field and that's what his job is. He says he's not playing a lot of ODI cricket but wants to get better.
Earlier, South Africa had batted brilliantly to post a big score on the board. Quinton de Kock was the hero with the bat as he brought up his maiden ODI hundred, becoming the youngest South African to do so. A game that could have gone either way has gone the right way as South Africa were simply better in handling the crunch situations. Pakistan will look back at another failure as they could have leveled the series today. They were let down once again by the batting as it collapsed from a winning position. They were good today but just not good enough.
A thrilling win for South Africa as they clinch the series 3-1 with a game left in hand. The chase started brightly for Pakistan as the openers once again got going and posted a big partnership. But once they fell, it was the same old story for Pakistan as they lost a further couple of wickets. Then, Misbah, their saviour got along with the debutant Sohaib Maqsood and strung a nice partnership that brought Pakistan closer to the target. Maqsood was impressive as he scored a fifty under pressure in his debut game. Once he departed, the lower order failed to capitalize and crumbled under pressure to Steyn as he gobbled up his second five-wicket haul in ODIs. All hard work done by Misbah and Maqsood went down the drain.
