What a magnificent chase by India and they managed to win the match with 39 balls to spare! This is the second-highest successful run chase ever in ODIs! After posting a huge total and the way their bowlers bowled in the last match, the Australians would have banked on a 2-0 lead but they were left scratching their heads. The India openers started off a tad cautiously but then Dhawan upped the ante with some sparkling strokeplay. Rohit Sharma and Dhawan added 176. Kohli replaced Dhawan and looked aggressive from the word go. He clobbered the Australian bowlers to all the parts of the ground and became the fastest Indian to reach an ODI hundred. Sharma, on the other hand, played a mature innings and got a deserved century as both he and Kohli finished off the chase in style.
