Harris was part of the South African team that won test series in England and Australia in 2008 and played the last of his tests against India in 2011 before losing his place to legspinner Imran Tahir. Harris also played for Western Province and Warwickshire in England and will finish with current team, the Pretoria-based Titans.

Left-arm spinner Paul Harris broke through for South Africa after stubborn Australian resistance on the fourth day of the third Test at Newlands on Sunday.

SA may have to play the rest of the final Test against Australia without a skipper but spinner Paul Harris said the team remains unfazed by the setback.
