Steve Stolk, a local boy from Pretoria, gold stuck after being called-up by Pretoria Capitals as their rookie draft pick at the auction for the SA20 Season 2. What is amazing about this youngster is that he is just 17 years old and his potential has elevated him to play alongside the well-known names in the cricket fraternity.

The young school boy from Hoërskool Menlopark is still in Grade 11, but has managed to make enough noise with his cricket skills already. In the recent campaigns of the LPL, he has managed to score several sixes and scored runs at a strike rate of more than 200 with quite ease.

He has scored more than 1000 runs with the bat in 2023 alone in several leagues around Pretoria. He has also been around the Titans junior team in recent times. Apart from being a good batter, he has impressed with his bowling skills so far at school level cricket. Pretoria Capitals as a unit is hoping for the best for the youngster and is excited to witness his growth within the team, shaping up our future in the process.
