Riaz Hassan Profile
Riaz Hassan made his debut for the Afghanistan national cricket team in January 2022, marking his entry into international cricket. He prefers to open the innings and has displayed a lot of promise with the bat in the domestic circuit.
Hassan's journey in domestic cricket began in 2018, when he made his first-class debut for Amo Region in the Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament on April 8. Later that year, on July 18, he played his List-A debut for Amo Region in the 2018 Ghazi Amanullah Khan Regional One Day Tournament. His T20 debut came on September 8, 2020, when he represented Kabul Eagles in the 2020 Shpageeza Cricket League.
Hassan was included in Afghanistan's One Day International (ODI) squad for their series against the Netherlands in Qatar in January 2022 and also notched up his maiden ODI half-century in his debut game.
