Drinks! England have batted well in this first hour or so and added runs at a good rate. Jacob Bethell has already notched up a half-century while Joe Root is not far away. They will hope to continue like this and if possible, see it through Lunch while chipping away into the lead. New Zealand have tried a few different things but except for that one chance that Tom Latham spilled, they haven't been able to create many clear-cut chances. The Kiwis will hope that their bowlers exploit the conditions better and expose the middle order before the end of the session.
