Right then. That's it from the coverage of this game. But the CSA T20 Challenge action does not end here. There is one more game coming your way, which sees a contest between Warriors and Lions. The first ball is at 6 pm IST (1230 GMT). But as you all know, you can join us early for the build-up. See you there!
Theunis de Bruyn, the victorious skipper, says that he is happy with the win, but Western Province showed a lot of character, they should have been more clinical even though they have won the game. Sates that they lost a bit of momentum in both the Powerplays, moving forward they will make sure to capitalize on the same. Concludes by saying that if they have the momentum, it's important to keep it going, and a team like Province have a lot of experience, once they are under pressure, they need to take control of that.
Lizaad Williams is adjudged as the BOWLER OF THE MATCH. He says they did extremely well in the Powerplay to put on the pressure. Adds, there is always an opportunity to be a hero and he always tells himself to keep things simple with the ball.
Quinton de Kock wins the BATTER OF THE MATCH award. He says that he gave it his best, and his partnership with Theunis de Bruyn was good and that helped the side as well. States that he had to get out there in the middle and build the innings. Mentions that it was not difficult to bat on and he was trying to just time the ball.
Stay tuned for the presentation...
Western Province never got control of the game until it got too late. The bowlers were initially taken to the cleaners by the opening stands. But after the 10th over, the bowlers were able to do their magic and got rid of the opening pair in succession, This was the opening Western Province were after even since the word go, but once the doors were opened, they could not capitalize on it quickly. Dewald Brevis, the youngster, took the attack to Western Province and took the game away from them, but with his wicket in the death overs got a glimmer of hope in the Western Province dugout. Later, Western Province were miserable in the field, they dropped a couple of catches and that costed them the game.
The Titans have crawled over the finish line in the end. Titans got off to a flying start, all thanks to their opening pair of Quinton de Kock and Theunis de Bruyn. The pair racked up 79 runs before Quinton de Kock slipped, but soon his partner in crime followed him to the dugout. It was then Dewald Brevis who steadied the ship with Heinrich Klaasen and got their side closer to the finish line. But once Dewald Brevis fell, the runs came in at a slow rate. At one point, the ratio of a run a ball had gone away and Titans fell behind. But some lusty blows by Heinrich Klaasen made sure to finish the job for his side.
Titans have handed Western Province their first defeat of the campaign. This game swung ferociously from one end to the other but in the end Heinrich Klaasen kept his composure and got his side over the line.

Wide! Length ball, down the leg side. Sibonelo Makhanya looks to flick but misses. Wide given!
Oh dear. Sibonelo Makhanya is not having a good outing. He gets hit in the box for the second time. He is rolling on the ground again. The physio has a confused look on his face as he walks out. It was just like Liam Livingstone when he got struck twice in the soft area twice in a single game in BBL.Looks like Sibonelo Makhanya has recovered.

NOT OUT! Fuller ball, outside off, turning it away. Sibonelo Makhanya leans and looks to defend but misses. Dane Vilas collects the ball and whips the bails off. The replays show that Sibonelo Makhanya has his back foot just behind the line. He survives!
Is that out? Outstanding work by the keeper to clips the bails quickly and gets stumping opportunity into the equation. The umpire takes it upstairs to confirm. The replays show that Sibonelo Makhanya had his back leg outside the crease when the keeper had the ball in his hands. But somehow Sibonelo Makhanya was quick enough to get his back leg inside the crease. The final decision is NOT OUT.
