Right then. That is all that we have from this game and this tour too. Pakistan dominated both the ODIs and the T20Is and they will be really happy with their display. We have enjoyed bringing the coverage of this tour and we hope that you have enjoyed it too. Until next time then. ADIOS! TAKE CARE!
Babar Azam, the Pakistan skipper, is also the PLAYER OF THE SERIES! He starts by thanking the South African management as they provided a good opportunity for them to play here and they enjoyed the quarantine too and the facilities provided were top-notch. Feels that they could have closed the game well, but when the two set batters got out, they were in some problem. States that they will have a chat about the middle order and they will look to do better going forward. Says that the boys put in the effort and they wanted to give it their all and they did that. Praises Zaman for his performance in the ODIs. Talking about his performance, he laughs and shyly says that he does not know what he has to talk about, regarding his performance and says that he just looks at playing for his team and he just looks to enjoy his game.
Faheem Ashraf is named the PLAYER OF THE MATCH. He starts by saying that he thanks the almighty God. Adds that he was reading the batsmen till the end and it paid off. Mentions that he was not under pressure as the bowlers upfront did well to give them a good start. Further says that the captain gives him the confidence to do well and it works for him.
Heinrich Klaasen, South Africa skipper, says he told the bowlers to bowl at the right lengths. Adds that the bowlers did well to fight back. Mentions that Pakistan deserved to win 3-1 but says that the team fought well to try and defend this total. Further says it was a good opportunity for the young guys. Klaasen says they did well to grab it. Mentions that two games ago, we showed we can fight. Further says that they need to be consistent to get good performance from the team.
South Africa should be proud of its effort. With a depleted squad as they have, it was always going to be hard for them to challenge a full-strength Pakistani squad, but here, they took the game right to the wire and almost leveled the series too. They were under the pump when Azam and Zaman were going about their business, but once they got rid of Fakhar, the floodgates opened up. They kept picking the wickets but were not able to close things out well. Even though, Magala and Williams snared 2 wickets, they were slightly expensive on the night. Overall, they will feel that they could have done better and could have won the final game.
Losing Rizwan early on did not matter as Zaman and Azam raised a brilliant 91-run stand and at that point, it did not seem that South Africa had any sort of chance in the game. But when Zaman departed, after his fifty, the batting just crumbled at that point. The middle order of the visitors were not able to stay out there and provide the final punch, which would see them win the game. Towards the end, Mohammad Nawaz did well to settle out there when he started and then, to score those important boundaries when it mattered and he ended up scoring the winning runs too.
What should have been quite an easy chase, has been brought to the wire by Pakistan. But we can't even blame them, as this is a frequent habit of theirs to make a hash to things which are supposed to be easy. But credits where it is due, the hosts bowled really well and brought the game to the wire but sadly for them, they could not close it out. In the end, Pakistan have won by 3 wickets and also win the T20I series 3-1!

NO BALL! Length delivery on middle, Ali slogs it through mid-wicket for a single. The third umpire calls it a no ball as Magala again oversteps! This is poor, poor stuff from Magala. Will this prove costly to the hosts?

Sisanda Magala To Faheem Ashraf OUT!
OUT! CAUGHT! Magala gets his second wicket and what an important wicket this is, looking at the game! Length delivery on off, Ashraf looks to go big but hits it uppishly towards mid on where Markram takes a comfortable catch. Pakistan are making a mess of this chase and will be looking at someone to close the game out nicely for them. 16 needed off the remaining 10 balls.
Hasan Ali strides out now. Can he smack a few lusty blows and push Pakistan past the line?
