Right then, that is all we have from this game. There is another game coming your way which will start at 8 pm IST (2.30 pm GMT) where Islamabad United will take on Multan Sultans in that encounter. So switch tabs and do join us for that game and the build-up. Till then, Cheers!
Sarfaraz Ahmed, the skipper of Quetta Gladiators says that the ball was not coming on nicely and that's why the batters struggled to get runs. Tells that they managed to bowl well and get a win. Credits his bowlers for bowling well, especially Khurram Shahzad and Naseem Shah. Jokes that they can still qualify if Islamabad don't come out to bat tonight.
Babar Azam, the skipper of Karachi Kings, says that the season has not been good for them and fans will be disappointed and they tried but could not do well. He adds that they had some injuries in their camp but Mir Hamza was quite good and he has been a positive for them.
Khurram Shahzad is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH. He says that he has played only two matches but has learned a lot from the players sharing the same dressing room. Mentions that it was his dream to get Babar out and is glad that he was able to do that. Tells that he tries to stay positive and give his best on the field.
Stay tuned for the presentation.
Karachi Kings would have been pretty confident coming into this chase with a modest score to chase. The confidence would have grown even higher when Azam and Clarke put on a big opening stand. Azam departed after a good start and Sharjeel after playing a breezy knock also returned back to the pavilion. However, the game was still in Karachi’s bag but they lost their way when Clarke and Akram departed in quick succession. The required rate started creeping up and it was down to the pair of Nazir and Wasim to take them through. Unfortunately for them, wickets kept tumbling and in the end they just crumbled to lose their ninth game of the season.
Quetta needed a big win in this game but with a modest total on the board that was always going to be a tough task. Naseem Shah was quite good at the start but failed to get the breakthrough and it seemed that game has drifted away from around the halfway mark. However, Khurram Shahzad bowled an inspired spell in the middle overs and got rid of Azam and Sharjeel and then Irfan also chipped in with a big wicket of Clarke. After that, they kept putting the pressure on and Naseem Shah came back at the back-end and got two important wickets to put his team right on the top. Some good death-bowling in the end sealed the deal for them and overall they will be very happy with their performance with the ball.
Quetta Gladiators have managed to keep their season alive for now. Fantastic come back this in the second-half of this innings and though it is not a big win but a win nevertheless and that will make them happy. The loss today sums up the season for Karachi Kings and they end up with a record of being the only team in the PSL so far to finish the season with just a single win out of the total allotted games.

Naseem Shah To Rohail Nazir OUT!
OUT! TAKEN! The slower ball does the trick for Naseem Shah! It has been quite a spectacular spell from him. Bowls a short ball, on middle. Rohail Nazir again gets deceived by the lack of pace. Miscues his pull square leg where Will Smeed takes the catch easily. Karachi Kings are digging a hole for themselves here.
