With this win, Lahore Qalandars climb further up and move to the second position in the points table. The side would be very thrilled to get a win in front of their home crowd.
With the likes of Rashid Khan, Shaheen Afridi, and Haris Rauf in the bowling attack, the chase for Multan Sultans was never going to be easy. No batters found their mojo in the middle. After losing Shan Masood early, Mohammad Rizwan and Sohaib Maqsood tried to re-build the innings but they never found their rhythm in the middle and perished soon. Tim David and Khushdil Shah did smash a few big ones, but they too could not hold on till the end. Multan Sultans' win streak has been broken, but they still sit comfortably at the top of the table.
