So that is it from this game! Cricketing action though does not end here. Still another Big Bash game, the India and Australia decider and also the Test match between England and South Africa to start so you are probably spoilt for choices at the moment. If you ask me, I would definitely keep an eye on all the three. Goodbye and take care!
The MAN OF THE MATCH AWARD has been given to Head for his brilliant knock which took the Strikers to a big total.
Earlier in the day, after electing to bowl, Hobart did have the visitors in trouble initially but a superb knock from Head and a decent hand by Wells saw them get close to 190 which in the end proved to be enough.
Chasing a big total you need to get off to a good start but that did not happen! Hobart lost their openers early. Doran and Miller then tried to build a stand but just as the former got going, he perished. McDermott along with Miller then kept the hosts in the game but they McDermott fell when his side needed him to bat longer. Bailey also did not contribute a lot and it was all on Miller to take them home. He did strike a few meaty blows but could not win them the game. Heartbreak for him in the end but all smiles on the faces of the Strikers.
What a knock from Miller! He rolled back the years today, single-handedly took the Hobart side close to the target. However, his effort goes in vain and Hurricanes chances of making it into the top 4 has been dented big time.

Peter Siddle To David Miller
SIX! Ends the game with a biggie but it is still not enough! ADELAIDE WIN BY 10 RUNS! A full toss on the pads, Miller hits it over the mid-wicket fence for a biggie.

1
Peter Siddle To Thomas Rogers
Just the one legal delivery needed now! On the pads, it is worked towards deep square leg for one.
19.4
1
Peter Siddle To David Miller
Just the single! That should be the game for the visitors! Unless they bowl an extra. Full and on middle, it is hit down to long off for one.
19.3
0
Peter Siddle To David Miller
A full toss and Miller does not connect! He gets it off the inner half towards deep mid-wicket. He does not run. He needs 3 sixes now to tie the game.
19.2
2
Peter Siddle To David Miller
Again! Nothing Miller could do with that too! A yorker on middle, this is jammed out through point and two is taken.

A dot to begin! Nothing Miller could do with that! A yorker on the pads, Miller looks to whip it but misses.
Siddle to bowl the last. 21 needed, can PS keep his cool?

He does go for the biggie but only gets a run. Brilliant from Rashid. Short and on middle, Miller pulls it hard through square leg. Rashid in the deep runs to his right and stops it with a dive. Just the one, 21 needed in 6.

1
Michael Neser To Thomas Rogers
Another single! Rogers looks to paddle scoop it. Neser bowls it full and on middle, Rogers gets it off the toe-end towards square leg for one. Now then, what will Miller do? Will he go for a biggie or take a single and look to keep strike?

1
Michael Neser To David Miller
Single taken! Not sure why Miller ran one there. Short and outside off, it is slapped through covers for one.

Michael Neser To David Miller
SIX! That is big! Miller at his best! Wow! That made a cracking sound of the bat. 4 more of these needed. Once again right in the slot. Full and on middle, Miller lofts it over the bowler's head and it goes all the way. Neser under pressure.

2
Michael Neser To David Miller
Miller misses out there! Gets two! A full toss on off, Miller looks to go over the mid-wicket fence but does not time it properly. It goes all along the ground and two is taken.

Michael Neser To David Miller
SIX! That is huge! Right in the slot, on the pads, Miller whips it way over the square leg fence for a biggie. 32 needed in 11. Miller would probably think 5 more of those in the 11 balls left.
A slight confusion, they go upstairs to check if Miller did cross on the last ball and replays show he did not, he will be on strike.
Michael Neser is back into the attack now.

Wes Agar To Clive Rose OUT!
OUT! That is a brilliant catch by Siddle! A short ball outside off, Rose slashes at it. It flies off the outside edge, it seems to be going over third man but Siddle runs to his right and takes an excellent catch. Miller probably will have to do it by himself now. 38 needed in 2 overs.

Wes Agar To Clive Rose
FOUR! Rose hits a vital boundary on the first ball he faces! 38 needed in 13. Full and on middle, it is lofted over mid off and the ball races away to the fence. Can he hit one more?
