U-N-B-E-L-I-EV-E-A-B-L-E  is what you can say. The credit for today's game should go to one man who led his team from the front, marshalled his troops to perfection and believed in them. No one would have though that 92 was defendable but Sammy had other plans as he went onto prove that grit and determination can turn the outcome in your favour. He showed that a positive mindset can change the situation and result as per your liking.
It was not just Sammy's brilliance but Barbados Tridents' batsmen also contributed by not going after the bowling and remain happy with ones and twos along with Test match style defending. This resulted in Tridents falling in their own trap with which they dismissed the Zouks earlier in the 1st innings. Tridents were in the game till Charles was batting but once he fell it was a matter of time before the loss comes up. Who would have though that after an opening stand of 32 the Barbados team would be in deep waters and eventually come second.
Zouks were brilliant with the ball in hand. Credit should be given to Sammy once again for reading the pitch so well. he just used his pacers for 5 overs and that was the difference. Daren's instinct of going in with a spinner in the last over as well as trusting a young Glen for the 19th over was a hats off decision. Defending less than 100 runs was only possibe as the team believed in each other and upon that they believed in the leader.
Earlier in the day, the Tridents bowled superbly as they restricted the Zouks to a paltry score of 92! At the half way mark it looked that Tridents would steam roll the Zouks but it turned out to be the opposite. For the Tridents hayden Walsh jr was the star with the ball as he endedwith a 3-fer.  He was looking confident in his game from the last one against Trinbago Knight Riders.. Thats it from this game but do stay put as the second game of the double header begins at 2:15 locla (1815 GMT) where Guyan Amazon Warriors take on St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots  at Queen's Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trindad. Till then cheers and take care.
