That's all from this game! Guyana continue their winning momentum and they go into the play-offs with confidence while the Tridents are out of contention for the play-offs. The CPL action resumes on Saturday with a double-header, starting with the clash between the Knight Riders and the Zouks, followed by the Tallawahs against the Tridents. The action will start at 1000 local (1400 GMT). Until then, cheers and take care.

Adds that the work is not done yet and they will look to enjoy a few days and get back to training. Says that they will look to maintain consistency. States that Pooran and King know that they have made an error and they have realized it and have spoken to the coach about it. Says that Shepherd is a class player and he has got an immense amount of character. Is proud of the boys.
Jason Holder, the Tridents' skipper, says that it has been a disappointing performance and they just did not play well enough. Adds that they could not make enough runs with the bat. States that they have not been able to execute the plans and they have struggled in the Powerplay. Adds that the batters needed to spend more time in the middle on this wicket. Says that a lot of guys have not played cricket for a long period but that should not be an excuse and they needed to do the job. States that the bowling was decent with Santner being the pick of the bowlers.
Romario Shepherd, the MAN OF THE MATCH, says that he is really proud of his effort and says that he executed his plans well. Adds that he enjoys bowling at the death. States that he is really relieved with his performance. Says that Sinclair is full of energy and it is fun to see him play.
Earlier in the day, the Warriors bundled out the Tridents for just 89 runs. The Tridents struggled yet again with the bat, as they have throughout the course of this tournament. Imran Tahir and Romario Shepherd shone with the ball in hand scalping three wickets each. The Tridents will be disappointed and are now out of contention for the play-offs and just for the first time, the defending champions do not make it into the play-offs while the Warriors will be gearing up to play in the semis next. Stay with us for the presentation ceremony!
The bowling by the Tridents was not bad at all but, when you have just 90 runs to defend, it makes things very hard for the bowlers. The skipper Holder scalped two wickets for the Tridents. They had a good spell of 3-4 overs where they grabbed three wickets to pile some pressure on the Warriors, but Hetmyer and Taylor pulled through to propel the Warriors to a victory.
The Warriors have wrapped this game up with more than 5 overs remaining after all, even though they lost a few wickets along the way. Hetmyer and Hemraj were the performers with the bat for the Warriors, Ross Taylor too put in a small cameo with the bat to see through the Warriors to two more points here.
