Earlier in the match! Trent Rockets scored 142 with Smith and Sciver scoring the bulk of runs. The Spirit bowled really well and looked like they will chase it down but The Rockets were absolutely brilliant with the ball, their skipper Natalie Sciver particularly and won comprehensively in the end.
London Spirit Women will feel disappointing! They kept the opposition under par total but failed to cross the line. The likes of Beth Mooney and Amelia Kerr didn't make an impact. Naomi Dattani tried her best but there was no support from the other side. They were under pressure when Sciver took the wicket of Beth Mooney and Alice Monaghan in quick succession and since then, they were chasing the game. It's looking quite hard for them to make the next round now.
A superb effort with the ball from Trent Rockets Women. Natalie Sciver struck twice in her first set and since then her team was right on top. There was a moment where it felt like London Spirit will get back into the game but The Rockets kept taking wickets at regular intervals and made an easy win for themselves.
