The ball arrives late and traps Khan in front of the stumps. A gentle appeal for LBW and the umpire raises his finger. 11/2

1.4 OUT! CAUGHT! Anshy holes out in the deep. Pitched-up delivery, on the pads, was there to be flicked over the fence. Anshy does go at it with the flick but doesn't get enough power to beat the deep square leg fielder and hits it straight down his throat. Nawed Al Balushi makes no mistake in the deep. 8/1

Luckily for Khan, the bowler cannot gather the ball cleanly to his right, allowing him to complete the second run. As the ball deflects off the bowler's hands towards cover, Ehsan wants to sneak in the third run, but Murtaza is not aware. The keeper, Muzaffar Shiralkar, gets to the ball and lobs it towards the bowler, who does the rest with both batters at the batting end. 121/8
