England vs Zimbabwe One-Off Test, Day 2, Live Score Updates

We are back for the final phase of play on Day 2, with roughly 45 minutes left on the clock. The primary objective for Zimbabwe's opening pair, Ben Curran and Brian Bennett, will be to negotiate this tricky period without any damage. Sam Cook will start with the new ball for England. Here we go!

Zimbabwe have it all to do to save this Test. Brian Bennett was the standout performer by a country mile, showing composure and intent in an otherwise underwhelming batting display. While Craig Ervine and Sean Williams offered glimpses of resistance, the touring side desperately needed more from their experienced duo to mount a meaningful reply. Heading into the second innings, the visitors will require a massive collective effort not only from the senior players but also from the rest of the batting unit. Zimbabwe have been folded for 265 in their first innings. With a lead of 300 runs, England have decided to enforce the follow-on. A decision very much on expected lines, especially with this being a four-day Test and rain forecast on Day 3. The hosts will now look to pile the pressure and push for an innings win.
