... SECOND INNINGS ...

Australia, on the other hand, were pretty dominant early on and were quick to send half of their opposite back to the hut without much on the board. However, they failed to build on that and the conditions became a bit easy to bat as well. Lyon finally broke that big partnership and then the pacers made good progress with the second new ball to expose the tail. They did concede a few too many runs, but we're able to restrict their opponents. Starc was the pick of the bowlers and also reached the milestone of 350 Test wickets. They were gifted a run-out where Kemar Roach had to walk back to the pavilion which brought morale back in their side. Nathan Lyon took the last wicket as he tempted Kevin Sinclair to step out of his crease and Alex Carey behind the stumps took off the bails. It is now up to the batters to put up a strong innings and try to get a comfortable lead.

The top order of the Windies failed once again and they were reeling at 64/5. While Tagenarine Chanderpaul and Kirk Mckenzie got off to decent starts but couldn't make the most of it. It was then that magnificent 149-run partnership between Kevin Sinclair and Joshua Da Silva that took them out of that miserable situation. In the process, both of them registered their respective half-centuries as well, but both got dismissed in their 70s as well. After that, Alzarri Joseph played a counter-attacking knock of 32 runs off just 22 balls which included seven boundaries. He was well supported by debutant Kevin Sinclair who stayed out for a long time. He built another strong-looking partnership with Kemar Roach. Roach was dismissed due to miscommunication but Kevin Sinclair continued to bat long and tried to take the aggressive approach. He got to his half-century as well but was stumped soon after. 311 runs on the board for West Indies and it is the second-highest score by a visiting team in a Day/Night test match in Australia. It is now up to the bowlers to analyze the conditions well and try to get some quick wickets.

107.6WNathan Lyon to Kevin Sinclair
OUT! STUMPED! Fifty and out for Kevin Sinclair and that is it! Nathan Lyon tosses this one nicely, outside off, turns in a bit, Kevin Sinclair skips down the track to the leg side and tries to push it away, but loses his balance and misses it, Alex Carey behind the stumps fails to collect it on the first attempt, but has enough time to grab it on the second attempt and takes the bails off. West Indies have been bowled out for 311!

107.56Nathan Lyon to Kevin Sinclair
SIX! FIFTY FOR SINCLAIR! A maiden half-century on Test debut, not many do that and to do that against the Aussies in Australia says a lot about his potential. Nathan Lyon gives this one some air again, full on off, Kevin Sinclair clears his front leg away and launches it over the bowler's head for a biggie and gets to his fifty in style.

107.44Nathan Lyon to Kevin Sinclair
FOUR! Takes it on! This is flighted, full and around off, Kevin Sinclair extends his arms to reach for it and lofts it over mid off for a boundary. This is now the second-highest score by a visiting team in Day/Night Tests.
