The man of the moment, Aamer Jamal is down for a quick chat. Ameer Jamal says he is over the moon and is happy with his performance for his side. He recalls the times when he came to the SCG to watch the matches of Pakistan and is now happy to be here playing for the country. He further talks about the reason for his success in the series and credits the backing he has received from the captain and management. He adds that he backs himself even if he is hit for runs which makes him get those crucial wickets. He finally concludes by talking about his partnership with Hamza that brought Pakistan back into the game.

Right then, that was a fast and furious 20-odd minutes to kick off the final session on Day 3 and amazingly, it is Pakistan who have a slender first-innings lead of 14 runs as Australia have simply self-destructed. Australia have been knocked over on 299 with a deficit of 14 runs. A dramatic collapse and they have lost six wickets in quick succession just before and after the Tea break as they went from being 289/5 to 299 all out. Australia were looking all set to take the lead with Mitchell Marsh on the crease but Aamer Jamal had some other plans and disrupted the Australian party with simply brilliant figures with an impressive 6-fer and wrapped up the Australian tail quickly.

The ball goes quickly to third slip where Agha Salman takes a sharp catch right around his face and Jamal ends up with 6 wickets to his name and makes it 18 wickets in his debut Test series as well. OUT! CAUGHT! There it is, a five-for for Aamer Jamal and his series just keeps on getting better and better. Jamal steams in again and serves it on a good length on off stump, getting it to straighten a bit off the deck. Nathan Lyon gets squared up and jars at it with hard hands. The ball goes off the outside edge and down towards gully where Saud Shakeel leans forward and misses the ball. The ball goes through the hands and onto the boot before Shakeel manages to hang on. Australia going down in a hurry here.

Is that a fair catch? The Pakistani players think so but Nathan Lyon isn't going anywhere. The umpires have a chat and go upstairs. The third umpire checks it from a couple of different angles and we can see that the ball went through the hands of the fielder and onto the boot before the fielder gobbled it up once again. The ball doesn't hit the ground and the decision on the big screen is OUT!

OUT! LBW! Oh, that looks dead straight but the umpire turns down the appeal for LBW! Shan Masood takes the review and the only thing that could save Pat Cummins here is an inside edge but hotspot and UltraEdge confirm that there's no bat involved. Aamer Jamal steams in and looks for the inswinging yorker but misses his mark and ends up serving a full toss instead. This one dips and tails back in and beats the inside edge as Cummins looks to block. Ball Tracking comes up with three reds and Jamal has four wickets to his name, excellent bowling.

107.50Aamer Jamal to Pat Cummins
A hostile welcome to the crease for Pat Cummins by Aamer Jamal. Jamal, with his tail up, bangs in a short one around off, right on the money. Cummins gets hurried on and hops back but does well to keep his hands down and sway away from the line of the ball.
