Aaron Phangiso (Highveld Lions) was economical and a wicket-taker as he had 10 wickets in 6 games at 5.36 runs per over with best figures of 3/14.

Lasith Malinga (Mumbai Indians) may have been a touch expensive but he made up for it with 8 wickets in 4 games at 7.26 runs per over with best figures of 5/32.

Moises Henriques (Sydney Sixers) proved to be more than just a batsman who can bowl as he picked up 8 wickets in 6 games at 7.25 runs per over with best figures of 3/23.
