Brendon McCullum hit an unbeaten 83 to guide Otago Volts to an eight-wicket victory over Pakistan T20 champions Faisalabad Wolves in the first qualifier.

Brendon McCullum led from the front to help Otago Volts beat Faisalabad Wolves by 8 wickets the first qualifier in Mohali. McCullum remained not out on 83 while Derek de Boorder scored an unbeaten 30 to see Otago home. Earlier, James McMillan, Ian Butler and Jimmy Neesham bagged two wickets apiece to restrict Faisalabad to 139/8. (All BCCI images)
