FC Goa have signed a one-year deal with Sporting Clube de Goa's winger Pratesh Shirodkar in preparation for season three of the Indian Super League (ISL).
"We are pleased to have added Pratesh to our ranks. Being a Goan, he understands FC Goa and brings that local flavour to his game. With his experience and knowledge of the game, he will most certainly prove a valuable asset to us," FC Goa Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sukhvinder Singh said in a statement issued here.
Pratesh has previous ISL experience having turned out for Mumbai City FC last year wherein he made seven appearances.
Pratesh said, "I'm delighted at the prospect of joining FC Goa. Being Goan, this obviously means a lot to me. Playing to a full house is not a given in India, so I can't wait to experience that feeling and be a part of the squad which will certainly look to challenge for the top honours."
