Paris Paralympics 2024 Day 6, Highlights: India took their medals tally to 20 - the best ever in a single edition of Paralympics. Before this, their best performance came in Tokyo where India won 19 medals. Early on Wednesday, Sharad Kumar won silver while Mariyappan Thangavelu claimed bronze in Men's High Jump T63 event. On the other hand, Ajeet Singh and Sundar Singh Gurjar clinched silver and bronze respectively in F46 javelin throw final. Deepthi Jeevanji won the 400m T20 bronze. Earlier, shooter Avani Lekhara, who has already won a gold medal, finished fifth in the women's 50m rifle 3 positions final. In archery, Pooja Jatyan lost in the quarterfinal clash.
