Chasing 307, New Zealand lost some early wickets of Finn Allen, Devon Conway, and Daryl Mitchell. However, Latham and Williamson smashed 145* and 94* respectively to take their side across the line with 17 balls to spare. Earlier, Shreyas Iyer, Shikhar Dhawan, Shubman Gill brought up their half-centuries o guide Team India to a total of 306/7. Lockie Ferguson and Tim Southee were the pick among the bowlers with their respective three-wicket hauls.
