1st Test, Day 3: Dhawan, Pujara steady India's pursuit of 407

India got off to the worst possible start as they lost both overnight batsmen Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma.

The New Zealand bowlers were all over India as wickets continued to fall.

Neil Wagner led the way with four wickets as India collapsed to 202 all out.

Ravindra Jadeja provided some resistance as New Zealand opted to bat again after leading by 301 runs.

The Indians reposnded in kind as the pacers shared seven wickets to bowl New Zealand out for 105 and India needed 407 to win.

Tim Southee got rid of Murali Vijay early on and India got off to the worst possible start.

Shikhar Dhawan looked to be finding his form as he ended the day unbeaten on 49 along with Cheteshwar Pujara who was on on 22. India still need 320 to win with 9 wickets in hand and two days left to play.
