Statistical highlights of the Indian Premier League match between Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab here.
# David Warner and Virender Sehwag were involved in a stand of 146 for the opening wicket - Delhi's highest for any wicket in the IPL history, eclipsing the 133 for the second wicket between Gautam Gambhir and Shikhar Dhawan against Deccan at Delhi on May 15, 2008.
# The previous best opening stand for Delhi Daredevils in the IPL was 115 between Gautam Gambhir and Sehwag against Chennai Super Kings in 2008.
# The 146-run stand is the highest for the opening wicket in IPL-4 and the fourth best for any wicket in the IPL history.
# Adam Gilchrist (1371 at an average of 27.42 in 51 games) has eclipsed Jacques Kallis' tally of 1365. He is now third in the list of the top run-getters, next only to the 1492 by Suresh Raina and 1411 by Sachin Tendulkar.
# The top three run-getters for Punjab in the IPL 4 are Paul Valthaty (261), Shaun Marsh (179) and Adam Gilchrist (151).
# Playing in his 20th game, Shaun Marsh completed his 900 runs in the IPL, amassing 942 at an average of 58.87, including nine half centuries and one hundred.
# Twenty three sixes were registered in this match - the joint third highest in the history of the IPL.
# For the second time in the IPL history, both the openers recorded 75-plus runs in the same innings. Ravi Bopara (77) and Manvinder Bisla (75) had achieved the distinction for Punjab against Bangalore at Bangalore on March 16, 2010.
# Kings XI Punjab have become the first side to lose 30 games in the IPL.
# Delhi Daredevils have won three and lost four out of seven contested against Punjab in the IPL.
# Delhi Daredevils, with a win over Punjab, have won 26 and lost 22 out of 48 played in the IPL - success percentage 54.16.
# Paul Valthaty registered 12 sixes, extending his record for most sixes in the fourth edition of the IPL. Ravindra Jadeja (11) and Shaun Marsh (9) are the next two in the list.
# David Warner was adjudged Man of the Match for the second time in the IPL.
# Punjab (202 for six) recorded their highest total against Delhi in the IPL - their fifth total of 200 or more in the IPL - their highest is 221 for three against Rajasthan at Mohali on May 28,2008.
# The match produced 433 for the loss of ten wickets -the highest in the fourth edition of the IPL and the third highest in the IPL history, next only to the 469 between Chennai and Rajasthan at Chennai on April 3, 2010 and 447 between Chennai and Punjab at Mohali on April 19, 2008.
# Delhi Daredevils' 29-run triumph is their second in five matches in IPL 4.
# Twelve sixes were recorded in Delhi Daredevils' total -the most by any team in IPL 4, bettering the 11 by Pune Warriors against Delhi Daredevils at Mumbai on April 17.
# Delhi Daredevils, for the first time, recorded 12 sixes in the IPL. Their tally of 34 sixes in the highest by any team in the IPL.
# David Warner (77 off 48 balls) posted his fifth fifty in the IPL.
# Warner (229) is the first batsman to make 200 in the IPL 4 for Delhi Daredevils. The next two for Delhi are Venugopal Rao (166) and Virender Sehwag (149).
# Delhi Daredevils (231/4) have posted their first ever total of 200 or more in the IPL, surpassing the 194 for four against Deccan Chargers at Delhi on May 15, 2008.
# Sehwag (77 off 35 balls) posted his first fifty in the IPL 4 - his eighth overall in the IPL.
# Sehwag is the top run-scorer for Delhi Daredevils in the IPL, amassing 1109 (ave.27.04), including eight fifties in 44 games. He has eclipsed Gautam Gambhir's runs' tally of 1097 at an average of 31.34 in 40 matches in the IPL for Delhi.
# Sehwag emulated Gambhir's eight half-centuries for Delhi Daredevils in the IPL.
