Rajasthan Royals will lock horns with Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Match 19 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday, April 6. With three wins in three games, Rajasthan are on an unbeaten run and are second on the IPL 2024 points table. Royal Challengers Bengaluru, on the other hand, have had a below-par start to their campaign. They find themselves in eighth spot on the IPL 2024 points table with one win and three defeats.
Let's look at the predicted playing XI of both teams ahead of the much-anticipated clash of the Royals.
Rajasthan Royals Predicted XI
Yashasvi Jaiswal
Talented left-handed batter Yashasvi Jaiswal is yet to announce himself in the ongoing IPL season. He has scored 39 runs in three matches with a strike rate of 156 and is expected to find form sooner rather than later.
Jos Buttler
English international Jos Buttler hasn't got off to a flying start in IPL 2024 either. He has lost his wicket early in all the matches so far, accumulating just 35 runs and the 2022 Orange Cap winner will be eager to find his form soon.
Sanju Samson (captain and wicketkeeper)
Rajasthan skipper Sanju Samson has been in sublime touch this season and has scored 109 runs, including a highest score of 82*. An attacking batter, Samson's average of 54.50 is something opposition batters must be wary about.
Riyan Parag
Riyan Parag has been a star performer for Rajasthan Royals in the ongoing season. He's in contention for the Orange Cap with 181 runs in three matches and has made two fifties this season while batting at a strike rate of 160.17.
Shimorn Hetmyer
The West Indies T20 sensation Shimron Hetmyer adds depth and firepower to the Rajasthan Royals middle-order. Despite not batting much this season, he's renowned for his power-hitting and has a strike rate of over 150 in the IPL.
Ravichandran Ashwin
Ravichandran Ashwin has been in decent touch for the Royals this season. He has accumulated 45 runs in two innings, striking three sixes along the way and also has one wicket to his name.
Dhruv Jurel
After impressive performances in the India and England Test series, Dhruv Jurel has become a key player for RR. A good timer of the ball, he has made 40 runs in two innings at a strike rate of 166.67.
Trent Boult
Regarded as one of the most fierce bowlers in T20 cricket, Trent Boult has been in inspired form for RR. Boult will enter this match on the back of an impressive performance of 3 for 22 against Mumbai Indians and has scalped five wickets in IPL 2024.
Avesh Khan
Avesh Khan brings another dimension to the Royals' bowling setup. He boasts an economy of 7.27 and has taken two wickets while bowling in pressure situations in IPL 2024.
Nandre Burger
South African pacer Nandre Burger has been making waves lately in the T20 circuit. In his three matches for Rajasthan in IPL 2024, Burger has already bagged five wickets at an average of 18.20 in what is his debut season.
Yuzvendra Chahal
Yuzvendra Chahal has been on song this season. His spin variations have guided him to six wickets and he is currently RR's leading wicket-taker, making him key to the Royals' bowling unit in IPL 2024.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Predicted XI
Faf du Plessis (captain)
South African veteran Faf du Plessis is expected to open the innings for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Unlike his opening partner, Faf hasn't had a good start to IPL 2024 and has scored 65 runs in four matches.

Rajat Patidar
Rajat Patidar adds much-needed support to the opening batters by batting at No. 3 for RCB. He showed glimpses of returning to his best in the last game and will be hoping to make an impact in the upcoming contest.
Glenn Maxwell
Glenn Maxwell has had an underwhelming run with the bat in the ongoing IPL season. However, he has taken four wickets in four matches and it is surely just a matter of time before he finds his form with the bat.
Cameron Green
Maxwell's compatriot Cameron Green has been in decent touch with both bat and ball this season. The all-rounder has scored 63 runs and clinched two wickets in four matches for RCB.
Anuj Rawat (wicketkeeper)
Bengaluru's wicketkeeper Anuj Rawat could be a key inclusion to the side. So far, Rawat has scored 73 runs in four matches but he can do much better as shown in the first match of the season where he made 48.
Dinesh Karthik
Dinesh Karthik has stepped up and added important runs on the scoreboard for RCB whenever required. DK has been in stunning form this season and has scored 90 runs in four matches at an impressive strike rate of 173.07.
Mayank Dagar
Mayank Dagar could lead the spin bowling attack for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He has only taken one wicket in four matches at an economy of 8.74 but has shown potential to do much better.
Reece Topley
English pacer Reece Topley has only played one game for RCB in the ongoing season. He had a decent outing last time around where he bagged one wicket at an economy of 9.75 and will be looking to be among the wickets again.

Yash Dayal
Having been amongst the wickets for RCB in IPL 2024, Yash Dayal will look to assist Siraj in leading the fast-bowling attack for his team. So far, Dayal has taken four wickets in four games.
