...The Chase...
Indian bowlers struggled again! India gave the likes of Siraj and Yadav a chance but both didn't capitalize on it. Rohit used different combinations but none of it worked out. All the bowlers went for runs. Also, their fielding wasn't up to the mark. Mohammed Siraj dropped Rilee Rossouw twice, one when he was well early in his innings. A big score but ypu can bet on India to chase this down. Stay tuned for the chase.
End of excellent batting performance from the Proteas. They started with a bang and had 200 on their mind and successfully achieved the target. Quinton de Kock gave a perfect start and he went on to continue his good form by scoring a fifty. Bavuma fell but Rilee Rossouw turned up for his team. He was the anchor of the innings and his ton has given South Africa a chance to avoid the clean-sweep. Not to forget the small cameo from David Miller which could prove to be a difference in the chase.
What an innings from Rilee Rossouw. He was coming under come pressure into this game with a golden duck and a two-ball duck but have released all by hitting a wonderful century. He have made most of the lifeline given by India.
South Africa were looking for a score around 200 but they have finished well above what they thought for 24 runs in the final over bowling in the fag end remains a concern for Rohit Sharma.
19.6 overs (1 Run) A single to end but the damage was done earlier on! A yorker outside off, this is jammed down to long off for one. SOUTH AFRICA END WITH 227!
19.5 overs (6 Runs) SIX! Three in a row! Siraj, what have you done? He dropped Rille earlier on and now steps onto the ropes after taking the catch. Shorter and on middle, this is pulled towards deep mid-wicket. Siraj placed there takes it but steps on the ropes. A very casual approach. He should have had an idea about the ropes.
19.4 overs (6 Runs) SIX! BANG! Two in a row! Miller takes full toll of the Free Hit! This is the length he likes. Shorter and on middle, this is pulled over the mid-wicket fence for a biggie.
19.4 overs (7 Runs) NO BALL AND SIX! A high full toss and it is on the roof! That is a colossal hit! Miller smacks it well over the mid-wicket stand. That is huge, massive. New balls please. Also, a Free Hit is coming up.
19.3 overs (0 Run) This is a really good over so far from Chahar! Shorter and slower one middle. Miller looks to pull but misses.
19.2 overs (0 Run) OUT! TAKEN! Not sure if why Stubbs wanted to play that when he can hit it down the ground so well. This is fuller and on middle, Stubbs looks to play the reverse paddle scoop but the ball is way too full to play that. It goes straight to short third man where Ashwin takes it.
19.1 overs (1 Run) 100 for Rilee! His first in T20I cricket. Terrific innings. He got a life earlier on but take nothing away from the knock. Brutal batting. He brings it up by pulling this short ball through mid-wicket for one.

17.1 overs (1 Run) On the pads, this is worked through square leg for one.
16.6 overs (1 Run) NOT OUT! That pitched outside leg! That seemed the case right from the start! A yorker on the pads. Rilee looks to flick but misses. It rolls on the off side. A leg bye taken. India review out of hope and replays show that they lost it. A really good over from Siraj despite the no ball, he does not concede a lot.
16.5 overs (2 Runs) Brilliant cricket all-around! A yorker outside off, Rilee jams it out, it goes through point. Karthik in the deep, runs to his right, dives and keeps it down to two.
16.5 overs (2 Runs) NO BALL! A high full toss outside off, Stubbs slashes at it, it goes towards deep point where the catch is taken by it is a no ball. Free Hit coming up.
16.5 overs (1 Run) WIDE! The execution was just about wrong! A wide yorker but it is well wide outside off. Stubbs fails to jam it out.
